In other news, my erratic, disapproving mother suddenly appeared back in my life two weeks ago and bought me a new laptop for school. This was completely unexpected, but I've learned that reason and my mother do not often walk together, so asking questions would be pointless. So I'm just going to sit back and enjoy my new laptop and my Windows 7 and the random food gifts and say "thank you, Mommy."

Oh, and I finally got word from the Imperial Court, and Empress Madeline gave me a 1000$ scholarship! Yippee, now I can just afford this semester without loans. :)

This week I'm returning to the dorms. I'm looking forward to interior decorating the shit out of my room and living with my good friend Miranda. We've decided that she's going to be my housewife, since almost all of her classes are online. She'll cook us meals in the dorm kitchen, clean (maybe), and knit. When I get home from a long day of classes and work I'll take off my hat and jacket, set down my briefcase, and we'll talk about our days. Then we'll pop in an old Japanese film and relax together while we do our homework and eat the dinner that she cooked. I even have a pinstripe suit.

Oh, and by the way...
